A. Write the sentences correctly.

"Be quiet!" said the teacher. "Please take out your pens, pencils, rubbers, workbooks and copybooks".

B. Read and complete Len's story. Write the correct form of the verb in brackets.

This morning I (come) came downstairs at 8 o'clock. Gwen (help) was helping Mum make breakfast and Dad (drink) was drinking a cup of coffee.

I (do) will do the washing-up, I (say) said.

My father (stop) stopped drinking his coffee.

What (say) did you say ? ' he (ask) asked. He (not believe) didn't believe me.

'(tidy up) Have you tidied up your room?' asked Mum. 'And (clean) have you cleaned your teeth?

'And (do) Have you done your homework?' asked Dad.
