تمرين (A) ص23. أكتب أجوبة قصيرة للأسئلة التالية:

A. Write short answers to these questions.

Then listen to the conversation again and correct or add to your notes.

1. What is Ramadan? A month when Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.
2. What is Eid al - Fitr? A festival.
3. When does it take place? At the end of Ramadan.
4. What do people do at Eid- al Fitr? Give money to poor people, visit relatives and friends and give presents.

تمرين (C) أكتب لصديق انكليزي عن عيد الفطر إنشاء الوحدة الثانية (عيد الفطر) مهم جداً:

C. Write to an English friend about Eid al-Fitr. Write two paragraphs.

• Eid al -Fitr is a festival at the end of Ramadan. It is when we break our fast and eat and drink again in daytime.
• At the beginning of the day, we pray then we go out and give money and presents to poor people.
• We visit friends and relatives. We say " Eid Mubarak."
